Blake Klumpp, 14, and his dad Mike, 40, walk into their deer blind that they built to put chairs inside, in preparation for hunting season on Nov. 14, 2018 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Blake and his dad took approximately three weeks to but the deer blind together, they plan on eventually, after hunting season making it into a man cave. “Imagine a TV in here, two recliners and a heater to keep yourself warm,” said Mike, “it’ll be a cool little hang out spot for my son and I and maybe some of our friends.”

Alyson Woods, 21, does jump squats to work out on Apr. 30, 2018 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Working out is something Woods did as a way to bring her confidence back. "There was a time where I was worried about my health," said Woods, "and I wanted to do things to make those worries go away as well as push my body to it's full potential and I did."

During the Nutcracker Auditions, a boy patiently waited his turn to audition for his role on Sept. 17, 2018 in Midland, Michigan.

Jaxon Webber, 27, does toe touches for a competition put on by CrossFit Worthy yearly on Feb. 12, 2018 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. "I love when gyms having mini competitions to help athletes prepare for the games," said Webber. The CrossFit Games is a yearly competition where athletes go head-to-head to win the title of Fittest on Earth, as well as a cash prize.

Samantha Ryner, 21, puts some powder on her cheek on Oct. 3, 2017 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Ryner has been into makeup for awhile and loves the creative freedom behind it. "A lot of people think makeup isn't an art," said Ryner, "but try and make a smoky, natural, and creative eyeshadow look and then tell me how you feel then."

Jordan Talley, 24, puts his son, Marley Talley, down so he can find an extra onesie to change him into on Dec. 4, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan. Talley's son was born premature due to his mother having preeclampsia, with that and Talley having sickle cell anemia, Marley came out as health as possible. "I'm just glad he doesn't have it," said Talley, "it's not something I want my son to have to deal with."

Woods majors in Exercise Science and believes in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and working out two to three times a week. "I slip up every now and then which is natural," said Woods, "but I do my best to monitor what and how much I eat, which is the biggest factor in losing weight."

Alexandria Seifert, 24, concentrates on her next lift at CrossFit Worthy on Oct. 3, 2017 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. CrossFit is a high-intensity program that involves a wide variety of functional movements in a timed or scored workout. Seifert has been doing CrossFit for two years and enjoys pushing her body.
